Drugs seized near Dreher High School, two people charged

A citizen’s tip about illegal drug activity led Columbia police to an address near Dreher High School on Friday where two men were arrested, police said in a Facebook posting.

The bust occurred at 1217 Butler Street, which less than a half of a mile from Dreher High School at the corner of Milwood Avenue and Adger Road.

Donald Cleveland Bunch, 29, and William Austin Graham, 30, face numerous drug charges.

Bunch was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine close to a school and possession of marijuana. Graham was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, LSD and marijuana in close proximity to a school and possession of the drug MDMA (Ecstasy.)

Earlier this month, 6.5 grams of cocaine, five 'hits' of LSD, 5 grams of marijuana, and hash oil butter were seized from the home, the police said.

Both men were being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center Friday afternoon.
