Parked vehicle shot, damaged

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is on the lookout for those involved in the vandalism of an unoccupied vehicle that had been shot.

Sheriff Leon Lott said a suspect or suspects drove on the 200 block of Alderston Way Jan. 24 and shot the rear window of a vehicle parked in a driveway.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The sheriff’s department is requesting the community’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects involved in the vandalism.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the suspect(s) vehicle was captured on video surveillance equipment The Sheriff stated that investigators are looking for a large white SUV.
