Suspects wanted for attempted truck theft

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on two suspects wanted for attempting to steal a vehicle from a business.

Two suspects cut through the fence around Blue Moon Landscaping Company, 1836 Pineview Drive near Garners Ferry Road, Wednesday and attempted to steal a pickup truck on the property, according to Sheriff Leon Lott.

The suspects drove the pickup truck off the property and then abandoned the vehicle when it got caught in a fence.

A surveillance video camera captured the suspects in the act.

Anyone with information about the identities of the suspects can leave an anonymous tip to Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or www.sccrimestoppers.com. Anyone with information leading to an arrest can receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
