Suspects steal $3,500 worth of Yeti coolers

Richland County deputies are searching for suspects who stole thousands of dollars worth of Yeti coolers from a sporting goods store this weekend.

Two suspects walked into Dick’s Sporting Goods, 10204 Two Notch Road, around noon Sunday and picked up about 10 Yeti cooler worth about $3,500, according to a news release from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspects, who were caught on camera, then fled the business with the coolers

One suspect was described as a white male between the ages of 20 and 30 who was wearing a dark jacket, tan shorts and a baseball cap. The second suspect was described as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40 who was wearing camouflage shorts and a gray shirt.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC, text “TIPSC” plus the message to CRIMES (274637) or www.sccrimestoppers.com. Tips can be anonymous, and anyone with information leading to the arrest of a suspect can receive a reward of up to $1,000.
