Aggressive driving may be responsible for I-26 crash
Columbia police believe aggressive driving may have been responsible for the single car accident that tied up traffic on I-26 at the I-126 interchange Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m., while changing lanes, a car in the eastbound lanes hit the concrete barrier in the middle of the road, flipped over the barrier and ended up on the other side of the Interstate.

The preliminary investigation suggests that the driver, who was ejected from his vehicle and has serious injuries, was “ allegedly driving aggressively & arguing with another driver moments before the crash,” Columbia police tweeted this evening.
Columbia police continue to investigate the accident.
