UPDATE: Suspect captured after attempted Lexington County home invasion

Deputies captured a burglary suspect after a manhunt in Lexington County on Tuesday.

Matthew Hupp tried to kick in the door of a home in the 100 block of Mooring Lane in Governors Grant, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials announced Hupp’s capture shortly after 1 p.m. He was caught on Wise Ferry Road.
