Two men are wanted by the Sumter Police Department for allegedly robbing a jewelry store on Monday.

Jewelry Wholesale, at 41 E. Wesmark Boulevard, was robbed just before 4:45 p.m., according to public information officer Tonyia M. The men also took an undetermined amount of jewelry from the store, said McGirt, adding the suspects then fled on foot toward the Sumter Mall. No one was injured in the incident, McGirt said.

The suspects are described as black men, between 25 and 35 years old, McGirt said.

McGirt said both men should be considered armed and dangerous.
