Columbia prison escapee captured in Louisiana
The man who escaped from prison in Columbia on May 26 has been captured in Louisiana.
Catrell Davis, 24, was caught by the Alexandria Police Department in Alexandria, La., at about 2 a.m. Wednesday, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
Davis was serving an eight year sentence at the Walden facility on Broad River Road for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
