Felony DUI charged after Friday Lexington County accident
A 1 pm crash on Calks Ferry Road in Lexington County sent two people to the hospital and a third to jail, charged with felony DUI, David Jones of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
Guy Collins, 39, is accused of running a stop sign and plowing into another vehicle, the force of the impact cutting it in two.
The two people in other vehicle were seriously injured. One was flown to Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital, the other transported by ambulance.
Collins has been charged with felony driving under the influence with great bodily injury.
