Richland deputies investigating shooting off of Farrow Road

Deputies are investigating an aggravated assault after finding a victim who had been shot in the lower body Saturday night.

The incident happened just before 10:30 p.m., according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies responded to Locksley Hall Road and William Hardin Road – not far from Farrow Road – and learned that the victim had been taken Providence Northeast Hospital by friends.

The victim’s injuries are not life threatening, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson said.

As of Sunday morning, the victim was unable to give investigators any information.
