Victim at Super 8 motel robbed of cash at knifepoint

Police are seeking the community’s help in locating a suspect in a motel armed robbery.

A man using a knife to rob a victim staying in a room at a Super 8 motel, 650 Cherokee Lane, around 4 p.m. May 21, a news release from the Springdale Police Department stated.

The suspect stole about $400 from the victim then fled in a vehicle parked outside where two other people were waiting.

Police identified the man as Terry B. Thomas, 53.

Thomas was last seen later that evening in the Airport Boulevard area on foot, wearing the same clothing.

Police believe he may attempt to travel to the Spartanburg area.

Thomas was described a white man who is 5-feet 11-inches tall and about 170 pounds. He is bald with short gray facial hair. He also has several tattoos on both arms
