COMET bus collision shuts down part of Rosewood Drive
Traffic is being rerouted on a section of Rosewood Drive after a city bus and another vehicle collided.
Columbia police are reporting a COMET bus collided with a vehicle on the 4400 block of Rosewood Drive near Gills Creek Friday afternoon.
Rosewood Drive in that area is closed, and traffic is being rerouted.
Police are reporting some involved in the wreck have been taken to a local hospital.
Drivers are urged to use caution in that area and find other routes.
Officers were on scene shortly after the wreck happened.
“Traffic safety officers have the painstaking task of investigating how the collision occurred,” the police department stated in a Tweet.
