Wednesday is now an e-Learning day for Lower Richland High School students, according to the Richland 1 school district.

Students shifted to online classrooms in the morning because of a power outage at the school in Hopkins. The school is on Lower Richland Boulevard, at the intersection with Garners Ferry Road.

Information on the cause of the outage was not available.

There was no word when power would be restored to the school, or if students will have another day of virtual learning on Thursday.
