While not all homecoming traditions have stood the test of time, some things at the University of South Carolina never change, from football game festivities to cheering on Cocky.

This year, USC is celebrating with a block party and tailgates, but what about back in the day?

The State took a look at Garnet and Black, the university’s yearbook from 1899 to 1994, and found photos from homecomings past that are snapshots of what it was like to celebrate as a USC student.
