Richland 2 asks community to join discussions about diversity, inclusion in schools

Richland 2 is holding a series of community meetings to discuss diversity and inclusion in its schools.

Information gathered from the discussions, which began Wednesday night, will be used to help create a comprehensive diversity and inclusion plan for the district. The meetings will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at these dates and locations:

▪ Monday, Feb. 22, at Brookland Baptist Church, Northeast, 1203 Summit Parkway

▪ Thursday, March 10, at Village at Sandhill Community Room, 499 Town Center Place

▪ Wednesday, March 16, at E.L. Wright Middle School, 2740 Alpine Road

▪ Tuesday, April 5, at Muller Road Middle School, 1031 Muller Road

▪ Monday, April 18, at Northeast Presbyterian Church, 601 Polo Road
