Vietnam Vets celebration set for May 1
PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT:
9th Annual Vietnam Veterans Survivors and Remembrance Day Celebration
Join the South Carolina Combat Veterans Group for the 9th Annual Vietnam Veterans Survivors and Remembrance Day Celebration on Friday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at the Vietnam Memorial in Memorial Park.
The celebration will feature a wreath laying ceremony, remarks from city, county and state officials, and guest speaker retired Maj. James B. Harris, USMC.
Prior to the start of the ceremony, a motorcade will depart the Dorn VA Medical Center located at 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 at 8:30 a.m. and will travel to Memorial Park.

A reception will be held following the ceremony in the auditorium at the Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209
