Someone who played the lottery in Columbia is walking around $50,000 richer, according to a statement from the S.C. Education Lottery.

A winning Powerball ticket was sold at the Publix at 4611 Hardscrabble Rd., according to the statement.

The numbers from the Wednesday Powerball drawing were 6, 19, 37, 49 and 59 with a Powerball of 22.

To win the $50,000, the player had to match four white balls numbers and the red Powerball number, the odds of which are 1 in 913,129, according to the statement.

Another drawing is scheduled for Saturday night. The jackpot is worth $96 million.
