More than 3,200 players scored a payout when the South Carolina Education Lottery drew 4-4-4-4 in a game of Pick 4 with FIREBALL on Saturday.

The Pick 4 prize payout will be more than $6.5 million.

Depending on the price paid for the ticket, the thousands of winners will receive either $2,500 or $5,000. If they purchased FIREBALL, players won $2,700 or $5,400 more.

The seemingly rare combination of numbers has been drawn three times this year, officials said. It was previously drawn on Jan. 26 and June 25.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. They can do so by mail, or by going to the lottery’s Claims Center in Columbia. Because of how many people won, the South Carolina Education Lottery said it expects long wait times Monday. Updates on wait times will be posted at sceducationlottery.com and on social media.

Winning Pick 4 with a straight play has odds of 1 in 10,000.
