Someone who bought a ticket for a lottery game won a six-figure jackpot following Saturday’s drawing, according to South Carolina Education Lottery officials.

The ticket that won the Palmetto Cash 5 game’s $433,000 grand prize was purchased in the Midlands, officials said Monday in a news release. It was sold at the Quick Stop #3 at 790 Hwy. One in Camden.

The odds of winning the prize are one in 850,668, officials said.

The numbers drawn were 6 - 8 - 12 - 28 - 38. The winning Palmetto Cash 5 ticket matched all five numbers.

The winner has 180 days from Saturday’s drawing to claim the prize by visiting the Columbia Claims Center.

The Palmetto Cash 5 jackpot for Sunday’s drawing is $110,000.

Proceeds from the South Carolina Education Lottery are used by the state to fund education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
