A Midlands woman got far more than what she bargained for when she stopped at a gas station to grab a quick drink.

The woman decided to purchase a $3 bingo scratch-off ticket alongside her refreshment at the In and Out Market off Trotter Road in Columbia. To her surprise, she won $75,000, according to a news release.

“I know that money isn’t everything, but this will sure help me out,” she told South Carolina Education Lottery officials, according to the release.

The odds of winning the game’s top prize are 1 in 528,000. Four more top prizes remain in the game, according to the release.

The In and Out Market received a $750 commission for selling the claimed ticket, the release said.
