An inmate has escaped from a corrections facility in Atlanta, according to multiple reports.

Dennis Zachery Carlyle escaped the Atlanta Transitional Center early Saturday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

He was last seen wearing civilian clothes.

The Georgia Department of Corrections warns people not to approach him and to call 911 if he is seen.

Carlyle was serving a seven-year sentence for robbery, according to the corrections department.

The Atlanta Transitional Center, where Carlyle escaped from, is to prepare adult male felons who are nearing the end of their incarceration to assume responsible citizenship.
