A Colorado bear plunged 10 feet down and got stuck in a culvert, wildlife officials said.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials said the 250-pound bear fell into a newly-installed waterline on a property in Steamboat Springs, according to The Denver Channel. They don’t know how long the bear was stuck.

A plumber went back to the culvert Tuesday morning and found the bear stuck inside, according to CBS Denver.

In a video taken by Kevin DeShazer, the plumber, the bear tries to jump out of the hole while the man encourages it.

“Good boy,” the man said in the video. “Good boy.”

Wildlife officials then came to the bear’s rescue.

District Wildlife Manager Kyle Bond tranquilized the bear, and climbed down into the hole to attach the bear to straps to hoist the animal from the hole, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Northwest Region.

The bear will be relocated, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
