‘Caribbean castle’ listed for $50M has a massive room that was featured on HGTV show
It’s called Castillo Caribe for a reason.
The mega-mansion, which spans across a whopping 48,000 square feet, has graced the real estate market for $49.95 million in the Cayman Islands. The estate has all the elegance of a Caribbean Castle, including eye-fulls of the vivid cyan crystal ocean.
While the beachfront home is impressive, with all its high-end features, one the most fetching aspects of the estate is its 5,000 square-foot great room.
The room was even featured in a 2012 episode of HGTV’s hit show “Million Dollar Rooms”.
“It’s easily big enough to hold a banquet for over 100 people. In fact, when the owner got married, he hosted over 200 guests,” listing agent Sheena Conolly, of Cayman Islands Sotheby’s International Realty said according to Robb Report.
In addition to the great room, the mansion has eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and six partial bathrooms.
Other features include:
Deck
Granite countertops
A cave-like pool area
Helipad
Tennis court
Billiards room
Home theater
Gym
Kids room
Steam room
Massage room
Along with everything, the new owner will also have 250 feet of beachfront, according to Robb Report.
