$19.7M estate with stellar views is most expensive home for sale in Idaho. Take a look
While it’s certainly possible to take in dreamy views around the city of Ketchum, Idaho, which sits in the shadow of Bald Mountain — a place popular for skiers — you won’t find a better home delivering those sights to wake up to every day than this lodge-like house on the real estate market for $19.75 million.
The estate also happens to be the most expensive house for sale in the Gem State.
The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom estate sits on 276 acres, and while the interior of the 10,362-square-foot home is something to behold, it’s those views of the land surrounding the property that seem to capture the essence of the state.
According to Realtor.com, the area the house sits on is “known for hiking, fishing, horseback riding and other outdoor sports,” which would explain why it’s so popular, regardless of Ketchum having fewer than 4,000 residents.
Along with its sweeping views, the inside of the home looks to offer up a heaping level of comfort and warmth — from its massive stone fireplaces to its high, floor-to-ceiling windows, to its large bedrooms and even larger bathrooms, the home has everything you need to get away from the entire world for a bit.
Ketchum is about 152 miles east of Boise.
