Teen in ‘critical condition’ after getting shot while hunting with friends, NE cops say

A teenager was critically injured on a hunting trip with friends, Nebraska authorities said.

According to a May 2 news release from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, a 17-year-old was shot while he was out hunting with friends in southern Hamilton County.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the shooting, which left the teen in critical condition at a hospital.

Hamilton County is about 78 miles west of Lincoln.
