A woman threatened to detonate a nuclear reactor on the University of Utah’s campus if the school’s football team didn’t secure a win this past weekend and was arrested Sept. 21, police told news outlets.

The University of Utah hosted a game against San Diego State on Sept. 17. The woman posted violent threats to the anonymous app Yik Yak before the game had started, police told The Salt Lake Tribune.

“If the football team did not win the game, (she) was going to detonate the nuclear reactor that is located in the University of Utah causing a mass destruction,” she said, according to the police affidavit acquired by KSL.

This raised concerns from law enforcement as she knew the storage location of the nuclear reactor, according to the outlet.

The woman has class in the same building, police told The Salt Lake Tribune.

The woman was booked on threats of terrorism and released on Sept. 21, according to ESPN.

The Utes defeated San Diego State 35-7.

The woman’s arrest comes a month after a 19-year-old male student threatened to bomb one of the campus buildings on Yik Yak on Aug. 26, according to KSL.

The University of Utah is in Salt Lake City.
