‘Surreal’ big lottery win has Virginia man so excited he says he hasn’t slept in days
Justin Martin is extra tired these days.
He was recently at home, killing time, when he decided to play The Lamp, an online Virginia Lottery game, he told lottery officials, according to a Nov. 18 news release.
That’s when he won $365,533.
“I haven’t slept since it happened,” Martin said.
Officials said the odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.55.
Martin told officials the prize was “sort of surreal.”
““It was pretty exciting,” he said.
Martin lives in Fairfax County, about 15 miles west of Washington, D.C., officials said.
