Bus full of dogs steal hearts on TikTok as dog walking becomes a field trip, video shows
Alaskans Mo and Lee Thompson have the life that many dog lovers can only dream of: they spend their days dedicated to dozens of pups, often enjoying sights of them frolicking in the wilderness.
Thompson, along with her husband Lee, runs Mo Mountain Mutts in Skagway. The duo does everything from dog walking and pet sitting to group pack walks and hiking on snowy trails with their four-legged clients.
The Thompsons’ business isn’t just useful. It’s also adorable and gets millions of eyes on TikTok.
Mo Mountain Mutts has 1.3 million followers on the social media platform and often shares videos of the dogs at their business piling into a little bus and traveling to frolic in the snow. Treats are never too far away, either.
“I hope it makes people smile,” Thompson told FOX. “I also hope that it motivates people to exercise and train their dogs.”
Thompson startedat first with a bike but slowly grew to a minivan and eventually was able to get a small bus to transport all the dogs she takes care of, she told FOX.
“I adore your crew and their behavior,” one person said on the Thompson’s TikTok.
“These fur babies behave better than our children do on the bus,” another viewer joked.
“I look in the rearview mirror of the buses I’m driving sometimes. And I see all the dogs back there. And I can’t believe… we say that all the time, I can’t believe this is my job,” the Thompsons told KHNS.
Skagway is about 105 miles north of Juneau.
