NFL legend Deion Sanders lists his ‘farmhouse oasis’ in Mississippi. Take a peek
A beloved, famous figure in the football world is bidding adieu to his Mississippi “oasis.”
Deion Sanders, a two-time NFL Super Bowl champion with the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys, has listed his gorgeous custom-built farmhouse in Canton for $1.5 million, which seems like almost a steal considering the home’s aesthetic appeal.
Privacy appears to be the ultimate feature that the five-bedroom, 4.5-plus bathroom residence has to offer — considering it sits on a vast 42.24 acres. Other features in and around the 5,346-square-foot “farmhouse oasis” according to the listing on The Agency Real Estate Services include:
Soaring ceilings
Custom iron staircase
Floor-to-ceiling windows
Built-in cabinetry
Gas-burning fireplace
Wraparound porch
Hot tub
Chef’s kitchen
Game room with a bar area
Mud room
Swimming pool
Outdoor kitchen
Also on the property are a 4 acre lake and a barn with two bedrooms and a 1.5 bathroom apartment.
Sanders made waves recently after announcing in December that he was leaving his position as Jackson State’s head football coach to take the head coach job at the University of Colorado. He was a superstar and considered NFL royalty during his 14 season career in the pros, where he played for numerous teams, most notably the Atlanta Falcons, the 49ers and the Cowboys. Sanders also played Major League Baseball as an outfielder and is the only athlete to play in both a World Series and a Super Bowl.
The listing is held by Dwanna Stanley.
Canton is about 25 miles north of Jackson.
