John Sancrant believes he has “pretty good luck” when it comes to playing the lottery.

That’s because the 71-year-old Michigan man recently claimed his fourth big lottery prize, according to a July 18 news release from the Michigan Lottery.

“And they keep getting a little bigger each time,” the Monroe County man told lottery officials when claiming his prize. “I’m hoping to be back here soon for millions!”

Most recently, Sancrant won the Fantasy 5 jackpot during the June 26 drawing with numbers 02-07-22-26-30, according to the release. The prize was worth $105,000.

“I play Fantasy 5 regularly and always pick my numbers based on birth dates,” he told lottery officials. “I had just finished dinner and looked at the numbers. As soon as I saw them, I knew I had won. I didn’t even have to get the ticket to double check!”

Sancrant plans to save the prize money, officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at Frenchtown Cheers in Monroe, about 40 miles southwest of downtown Detroit.
