Wendy’s debuts new Frosty as part of SpongeBob-inspired meal. When can you get it?
Wendy’s is celebrating everyone’s favorite sea sponge with a new, fruity Frosty.
The SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired “Krabby Patty Kollab” arrives Tuesday, Oct. 8, at participating Wendy’s restaurants nationwide, according to the Ohio-based fast-food chain.
It includes a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, made with pineapple-mango puree, and Krabby Patty Kollab burger featuring a “top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce.”
Both are available for a limited time, though Wendy’s didn’t say for how long.
The burger chain teamed up with Paramount for the first-of-its-kind meal celebrating the beloved cartoon’s 25th anniversary, according to a news release. Wendy’s said the new offerings are a take on “the most coveted recipe in all of Bikini Bottom.”
“It makes sense that two of the most iconic squares in pop culture are teaming up to bring a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life for fans of all ages,” Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. chief marketing officer for The Wendy’s Company, said in the release.
Customers can get the Krabby Patty Kollab in-store or order ahead on the Wendy’s app.
