Burger King employee stabs co-worker in the throat in Pennsylvania, police say
A man in Pennsylvania was arrested after police say he stabbed his co-worker in the throat.
Around 6:15 p.m. June 28, police were called to a Burger King for reports of a stabbing, according to a news release from the Allentown Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found an employee who had been stabbed in the throat. Police administered first aid, and the employee was taken to a hospital, the release said.
Officers learned it was another employee who stabbed his co-worker, police said.
Brinley Capellan-Lopez, 18, was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault.
Police did not say what led to the assault and have not released an update on the victim’s condition.
Allentown is about a 60-mile drive northwest from Philadelphia.
