Chick-fil-A debuts new chicken sandwich, plus seasonal drinks. When to get them
Chick-fil-A fans will have their pick of a few new offerings, just in time for fall.
The limited-time menu, launching Monday, Aug. 18, features the new Pretzel Cheddar Club sandwich and Cherry Berry & Sprite, the brand’s “first-ever seasonal soda,” according to the Georgia-based chicken chain.
Customers can also get their first bites of two new Waffle Potato Chip snacks, set to join menus as a permanent side item, Chick-fil-A said. The chips come in two flavors:
- Original Waffle Potato Chips
- Chick-fil-A Sauce-flavored Waffle Potato Chips
“We are always looking for ways to surprise our guests with new and unique menu offerings, and this year’s fall lineup presents even more opportunities for guests to customize and make them their own,” Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A, said in a news release.
The Pretzel Cheddar Club sandwich will head to menus nationwide after a successful test at Raleigh-area restaurants last year, according to Chick-fil-A.
It features customer’s choice of a filet — original, spicy or grilled — topped with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese and applewood-smoked bacon, per a product description. The sandwich is served on a toasted pretzel bun with a side of creamy dijon mustard.
A returning favorite, Cherry Berry will be back on menus after its debut last spring, this time with a fizzy twist. Chick-fil-A’s new Sprite & Cherry Berry drink blends the soda with “cherry, blueberry and cranberry natural flavors,” the restaurant said.
The seasonal lineup includes three other fruity offerings:
- Cherry Berry lemonade
- Cherry Berry frosted lemonade
- Cherry Berry Sunjoy
