Everyone and their dog is aware that some teenagers can be a lot. Trying to get them to follow any sort of rules is a great deal like herding cats obsessed with TikTok.

Mix that attitude with the sass of a real cat, and you end up with TT.

The kitten in Ohio acts like a 15-year-old in the throes of adolescence.

“Meet TT—a 6 month-old tortie/tabby with all the attitude of a teenager who just slammed her bedroom door,” the Jefferson County Humane Society in Wintersville said in a Sept. 23 Facebook post.

“She came to us feral, and while she’s still learning that humans aren’t the worst, she’s making slow progress in her own time (and on her own terms).”

It would appear that TT might need the diva treatment as a kitten. She’s aware that the spotlight belongs to her.

“TT is spicy, independent, and unapologetically herself. She may throw you side-eye, ignore your calls, or act like she doesn’t need you—but underneath that tough-girl act is a brave little cat who’s figuring out how to trust,” the shelter said. “And once she decides you’re worthy, you’ll earn the affection of a fiercely loyal companion.”

If you’re expecting kisses and biscuits right from the get-go, you may be a tad disappointed.

“She’s not a cuddly lap cat (yet), but she’s the perfect fit for someone who appreciates cats with a little fire, a lot of personality, and a streak of independence,” the shelter notes.

“If you’ve ever loved a sassy teenager, you’ll understand TT—and maybe even love her just the same.”

Wintersville is about a 140-mile drive northeast from Columbus.
