Nancy Mace Has ‘List of Names' To Subpoena After Viewing Epstein Files
Representative Nancy Mace has said she plans to seek testimony from several individuals named in newly reviewed Justice Department files concerning the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
On Monday, the Department of Justice began permitting members of Congress to examine unredacted versions of the roughly three million Epstein-related records it has made public since late-2025. Several lawmakers have already reviewed some of the materials-under strict supervision at a satellite office in Washington, D.C.-and reported new details about Epstein and his associates, as well as multiple instances of unnecessary redactions by the Department that potentially violate the Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law by President Donald Trump in November.
Mace visited the DOJ facility in D.C. on Tuesday, during which she said she was unable to view "critical information," that key documents "are missing or still redacted," and that there were now certain individuals potentially incriminated by their inclusion who should be called before Congress.
"After today's review of the Epstein files at the DOJ, I have a list of names I will be requesting the House Oversight Committee invite to testify and, if necessary, subpoena. I have questions," the South Carolina Republican posted to X on Tuesday.
Mace, one of the most vocal advocates for transparency on the part of the DOJ when it comes to Epstein, later added that this would be "a longer list than I had anticipated."
This is a developing story. More to come.
