Nick Shirley Denies Being Related to Charlie Kirk Murder Suspect

Conservative influencer Nick Shirley denied a viral claim that he is a cousin of Tyler Robinson, the man charged with killing Charlie Kirk, posting his family tree publicly to rebuke it.

The rumor began circulating on X this week, with one post alleging Shirley and Robinson are related and that Robinson’s mother is Shirley’s aunt. The post also suggested that Vice President JD Vance and Trump administration figures had promoted Shirley shortly after Kirk’s assassination.

Shirley, an independent journalist known for his reporting on alleged daycare fraud in Minnesota, called the claim false. “This is completely false. Here is my family tree for proof,” he wrote on X, tagging Community Notes. The family tree he posted traces his mother’s side through the Crowley family and does not list Robinson or his relatives.
