A date has been set for S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley to appear for a confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill.

Haley will be in Washington on Jan. 18 for a hearing in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which is considering her nomination to be ambassador to the United Nations.

The date of the hearing was posted online on the committee’s Senate webpage.

The hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. It comes one week after Haley delivers what is expected to be her final State of the State address at the S.C. State House.
