Conservatives criticized 2024 GOP presidential candidate hopeful Nikki Haley’s surprise TV appearance on social media.

The former SC governor appeared on Saturday Night Live this weekend, targeting her biggest rival, former President Donald Trump.

“My question is why won’t you debate Nikki Haley?” was one of the questions Haley jokingly posed during the skit to Trump, played by SNL comedian James Austin Johnson.

Haley’s performance caused a backlash on the social media platform, X.

“Is she aware that Republicans don’t even watch SNL anymore,” said X user ShotGunBonnie. “Like this doesn’t totally make her look just like another Anti-Trump liberal!!

Other users agreed.

“I’ve not watched SNL in decades and this will make sure I never watch it again,” said X user KHeard.

Some users claimed that Haley wasn’t a real Republican.

“She’s not a Republican, so her audience was still watching,” said X user Cecil Price.

Other users called Haley to drop out of the race, saying she never had the ability to appeal to conservatives.

“Obviously she knows that her blatant disregard for the conservative voter makes her unelectable, so why is she running?” said Diane 88.
