SC’s Haley gets latest role since leaving GOP race for White House. Here’s what she’s doing
Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has an additional new gig, at least until January.
Haley, who ran for president but dropped out of the race for the GOP nomination after Super Tuesday, is launching a satellite radio show on SiriusXM.
“Nikki Haley Live” will air Wednesdays from 8 to 9 a.m. Eastern Time, “where I’ll break down the week’s most significant headlines including the upcoming election, hotspots around the world, U.S. policy, and even some music and entertainment,” Haley said in an email to supporters.
The show will air at least through the presidential inauguration in January, SiriusXM said in a news release. The show will include guests and take calls.
Since leaving the presidential race, where she was the last Republican candidate standing against former President Donald Trump, Haley has landed a couple more new roles.
The former ambassador to the United Nations is now the Walter P. Stern chair at the Hudson Institute in Washington. Haley also joined public relations consulting firm Edelman, where she is the vice chair on the firm’s public affairs consultancy.
