All tickets for Democratic presidential forum at Winthrop gone in 5 minutes
All tickets for the Nov. 6 Democratic presidential forum at Winthrop that became available online at 9 a.m. were snatched up through online requests in five minutes, Democratic Party officials said.
Just minutes after the sell-out, the party tweeted “Democrats are fired up!”

Diane May, communications director for the S.C. Democratic Party, confirmed that all the tickets for the event to be held at Byrnes Auditorium were allocated in just five minutes.
The event where front-runner Hillary Clinton, main challenger Bernie Sanders, and Martin O’Malley have confirmed attendance was switched Thursday to smaller Byrnes which seats 3,500 people from the 6,000 seat Winthrop Coliseum.
The Democratic Party also announced Thursday the tickets went from being $25 to being free.
The event will be carried live on MSNBC and runs Nov. 6 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
