Facebook conversation: Which candidates are SC Facebook users talking about?
As the South Carolina Republican presidential primary shifts into full gear Saturday, many social media users in South Carolina have taken to Facebook to comment and share posts about their feelings toward different candidates.
Facebook tracked how many people in the state are talking about certain candidates by recording the number of likes, comments, posts and shares about a particular candidate, otherwise known as “interactions.” The data was collected over a seven-day period between Feb. 10 to Feb. 17.
GOP front-runner Donald Trump leads the pack with 948,600 interactions, while Hillary Clinton, who is leading the polls in S.C. Democratic presidential primary, is in second place with 391,100.
