SC teachers, do you plan to vote in November? The State wants to hear from you

South Carolina teachers in May 2019 rallied outside the State House by the thousands calling on state lawmakers to improve their working conditions and raise their pay after years, they said, of neglect by the General Assembly and statewide education leaders.

More than a year after the protest, a massive piece of legislation aimed to overhaul public education is dead, with legislative leaders attempting to assure teachers and public educators that lawmakers will tackle education once again when they return in January.

But before lawmakers return, we’re interested in hearing from teachers.

If you’re a current South Carolina teacher and plan to vote or not vote in the Nov. 3 general election, we want to hear why in a quick survey.

You will find the survey link in the article entitled, “SC teachers, do you plan to vote in November? The State wants to hear from you” on The State’s homepage, at www.thestate.com.

Please fill out the questionnaire below and we’ll be in touch.
