Mayor Juston Ricard, left, faces a challenge from Chad Owens in the Nov. 4, 2025, Springdale mayoral race.

Voters in Springdale decided Tuesday to stick with the mayor they chose four years ago for another term.

Mayor Juston Ricard won by a wide margin against engineer Chad Owens in the town of 2,700 people nestled between Cayce, West Columbia and the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.

Ricard had almost three-quarters of the vote when all was said and done, while Owen was more than 260 votes behind.

Three seats on the town council were also up Tuesday. Jacob Wilkerson, Kevin Reeley and Tate Wilbourne were leading for the three at-large seats, with Ben Vaughan trailing in last place with 15%.
