Former Mayor Bob Coble back at work after heart attack
Former Columbia Mayor Bob Coble returned to work this week after suffering a heart attack at the S.C. State House in April.
Coble attended his first public event Thursday – Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s speech at Brookland Baptist Church in West Columbia.
Coble said he feels good as he eases his way back into his work at the Nexsen Pruet law firm. “I’m glad to be back in action.”
Of the support and well-wishes he has received, Coble said: “It’s been unbelievable. It’s been really humbling.”
