Jeb Bush, Scott Walker among upcoming guests at Tim Scott 2016 town halls

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and retired surgeon Ben Carson are among the next 10 Republican presidential hopefuls attending town halls held by U.S. Sen. Tim Scott ahead of the S.C. primary in February.

Scott also announced dates for chats with Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Ran Paul of Kentucky and Marco Rubio of Florida as well as Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.

Current 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump was not among the announcements Monday. Scott’s campaign said the Republican senator from North Charleston is working to schedule other GOP White House candidates.
