SC politics: Eco-devo activities dominate Haley’s schedule
Gov. Nikki Haley’s publicly announced schedule for this week includes no events. According to her staff, Haley’s activities last week included:
10: Economic-development activities, including a supplier event at Kent Bicycle in Manning; a call to Savannah River Nuclear Solutions president and CEO Carol Johnson; a meeting with Lt. Col. Matthew W. Luzzatto, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Charleston District; a call to GE Power & Electric president and CEO Steve Bolze; accepting the 2015 Columbia Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year award; a call to BMW CEO Harald Krueger; and attending Volvo Cars’ groundbreaking at Pringletown
4: Policy meetings
2 each: Meetings concerning an unidentified state agency or agencies; also, speeches, to the LeadSC Young Professionals’ 2015 summit in Columbia and to the Greenville County United Way’s "Women Make a Difference" luncheon
1 each: Education meeting; also, an appreciation lunch of cabinet employees; also, a media availability; also, a constituent meeting
