S.C. attorney general hosting presidential hopefuls for faith-issues forum

Presidential candidates from both parties have been invited to a discussion on faith issues in South Carolina, a little more than a week before the state’s first primary election.

The gathering — co-hosted by the Palmetto Family Alliance and Conservative Leadership Project — will be held Feb. 12 in Greenville, a day before GOP presidential hopefuls gather there for a debate and just eight days before the Feb. 20 S.C. Republican primary.

S.C. Democrats hold their primary on Feb. 27.

S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson will moderate the event, along with Oran Smith, president of Palmetto Family. The forum will be held in Founder’s Memorial Auditorium on the campus of Bob Jones University.
