SC Democratic delegates make the front page of the New York Times
Some South Carolina delegates got national attention at the Democratic convention when their photo was chosen to lead Wednesday’s New York Times.
The Times’ photographer captured three women cheering the nomination of Hillary Clinton as the Democrats’ presidential choice. Christale Spain, the executive director of the state Democratic Party, Columbia attorney Marguerite Willis and state Sen. Margie Bright-Matthews, D-Colleton.
The photo was the talk of social media the morning it appeared.
