Woman bitten by shark at Folly Beach on Saturday

FOLLY BEACH, SC A woman was bitten by a shark at Folly Beach on Saturday, WCIV in Charleston reports.

The 36-year-old woman was bitten on her left foot, where a 5-inch bite mark was left, according to WCIV.

The TV station reports she was taken to the hospital with minimal blood loss.

Last June, another shark off Folly Beach reportedly bit a surfer’s board in half, although some locals questioned whether a shark really had done the damage.
