Governor Nikki Haley’s publicly announced schedule, released Monday by her staff, for the rest of this week is:
Tuesday, 10:15 a.m.: Speak at the S.C. Realtors’ annual rally, Columbia
Wednesday, 9 a.m.: Speak at trade fair held by the Governor’s Office of Small and Minority Business, Columbia
Friday, noon: Speak at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s public policy lunch series, Greenville
According to her office, Haley’s schedule last week included:
8: Legislative meetings
5 each: Policy meetings; also, media activities, including interviews, calls and news conferences, including one with 2016 GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush
4: Ceremonial duties, an employee appreciation lunch, comments to Leadership South Carolina at the State House, a photo with a constituent and attending the Hibernian Society of Charleston’s 214th annual banquet
2 each: Agency meetings, including a State Budget and Control Board meeting; also, religious meetings, attending the 55th annual S.C. Prayer Breakfast in Columbia, and a meeting with denominational and church leaders at the State House; also, political activities, touring Sistercare with Bush and meeting with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, another 2016 GOP presidential hopeful
1 each: Speech, to the S.C. Technical College System’s joint board summit luncheon; also, an economic development meeting
Busiest day: Tuesday, with nine activities
Slowest day: Friday, with two activities
